Is this true? Or will it install the extra routes and stuff just like it did when I bought TS2016 on Steam recently? On the TS2013 page it warns: "Note: This game can't be activated if you already have Train Simulator 2015 on your Steam account." I can't find TS2012 for sale anywhere, but I managed to find TS2013 and TS2014 (neither of which I owned, 2015 was the first I bought) on ♥♥♥: This page gives a useful chart showing all the routes that come with different versions: This seems to give most but not all of the routes in TS2012. The link you gave says that it's Railworks Ultimate Train Simulator w/ Challenger.

You'll get the asset packs plus a bunch of older routes and locos for around a tenner. Plug the key into Steam under "add game to steam" and it'll install the lot - 2 gigs worth of content, so it may take a while to download. Don't bother buying the "cd backup" because you just want the key. The cheapest way I know of to get them (and incidentally the best value) is to pick up a Train Simulator 2013 key and add it to Steam. Chances are if you start collecting you'll end up with them free. Most people have the European and US loco and asset packs, as they come included with many routes or with older versions of Train Simulator (when it was called Railworks).
